About Girl Child Scholarship
Silverzone Girl Child Scholarship 2025-26
SilverZone Foundation is happy to announce the SilverZone Girl Child Scholarship (SGCS) for 2024-25. Under SGCS, the Foundation will award one-time scholarships of Rs. 5000/- to 100 students (girls) in India who are meritorious and belong to the economically weaker section of the society.
SELECTION CRITERIA
- The SGCS is an annual scholarship for students in classes 1-12.
- Specifically designed for a girl child, the scheme covers her academic expenses for one academic year.
- The scheme aims to identify and support 100 deserving girl students across India.
- Student selection will solely be based on school recommendations.
- Each chosen student will receive a `5000 scholarship to facilitate her school education.
- The scholarship amount (cheque) will be sent exclusively to the student's school address by February 2025
IMPORTANT FEATURES
- The school is required to submit a proposal or complete the online registration form recommending a single girl student to the foundation.
- The proposal must bear the signature of the school principal/headmaster/headmistress. For online registration, the form should be filled out by the representative of the Principal.
- The recommended student must be a current student in classes 2nd to 10th.
- The student should have attained a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grades in the preceding academic year.
- The school must furnish the foundation with a copy of the student's previous year's report card duly certified by the principal along with the application form.
- A copy of the EWS certificate and the Marksheet of the previous class may be required during the selection process.
- Proposals must be submitted to the Foundation no later than October 31, 2023. Each selected student will receive a scholarship by February 2024, disbursed directly to their school address.
- A special committee appointed by the SilverZone Foundation will assess all received proposals.
- Decisions made by the committee are conclusive and binding.
- Any disputes concerning the scholarship will be subject to the jurisdiction of Delhi.
